“Of course.” She was more than ready. She missed the puppies already, but it was going to be well worth the trip. Peggy smiled broadly as he set her against the door. “You might have mentioned it once or twice,” she responded, laughing softly. “Have I mentioned that we have a schedule to keep?” She grinned and kissed him quickly.
Johnny could have seriously cared less about the schedule – it was just the rebel side of him taking over – but he knew they did have to go. He nodded slowly, bending down to kiss her again before opening the door for her, and closing it behind her once she had stepped in. Johnny walked around the car to the driver’s seat, hopping and wasting no time in starting the car.
She smiled and thanked him as she stepped into the car, more than ready to get their honeymoon officially started. “How far to the airport?” she asked, although she knew full well that distance didn’t really matter. It was traffic that would be the deciding factor, when it came down to it.
“Not far, maybe a good half hour,” He shrugged casually, pulling the car out onto the main road, his left hand steering the wheel and the right resting comfortably on the shifter.
Peggy smiled back at him. She had complete faith in Sue’s abilities to take care of the puppies. “Goodbye, Sue. Thank you for everything.” Sue nodded and smiled as Peggy looked at the puppies. “We’ll see you soon, darlings. Be good.” It wasn’t as though they could really comprehend what was being said to them, but Peggy felt the need to say it anyways. She gave the puppies one last smile before taking Johnny’s hand and leading him back to the car.
“You ready?” He asked as she led the way towards the car, knowing better than to look back at the puppies. It would get him all sentimental – and the door had already been shut, regardless. Once they reached the passenger door, Johnny smirked, spinning her around to face him as he pushed her against the door lightly, “Did I ever mention how lucky I am?” He asked, smiling as he led his hands to her waist, resting them there.

“Oh please, Johnny, you know I will.” Sue rubbed the top of Dodger’s head gently. Peggy, meanwhile, picked up Lotti and kissed the top of her head. “You’ll be alright with Sue this week, darling.” Lotti barked and Peggy kissed her again, as though hoping to silence her. It didn’t work. Peggy handed Lotti over to Sue, smiling weakly. “Lotti’s a bit louder than Dodger. I hope you don’t mind.” Sue shook her head. “No, it’s alright. Reed might complain, but I’ll deal with him. You two have fun, okay? The puppies are in good hands, so don’t you dare think about worrying about them.”
“We will,” Johnny replied, turning to Peggy briefly with a smile. Johnny knew he wouldn’t not worry about the pups, they were his kids after all, and the worryness was just there. Either way, he knew that they would be in somewhat good hands, and that relieved him. “Alright, we’d better go. Bye, Sue,” He nodded at her, then looked over at his kids, “Bye guys. Be good alright?”

“Hey, there you are!” Sue opened the door to let them in, smiling brightly. “I was starting to wonder when you’d show up. All packed and ready to go?” She looked down at the two puppies. “I have plenty of food and treats for them, so they should be fine while you’re gone.”
“Hey,” Johnny replied, although not as eager as Sue had been. “Yeah, we’re pretty much ready,” He looked over at Peggy briefly before looking over at Sue again. With a sigh he extended his arms, which held Dodger, towards Sue, handing him to her, watching as he squirmed a bit in her arms. “You’d better take good care of them,” He warned playfully, laughing slightly to himself as he looked at Dodger again, who was softly whining and then over at Lotti, who seemed to be staring up at Peggy skeptically, not knowing what was going on.

Peggy smiled as he kissed her, shaking her head. “At the end of the day, I am completely yours. And I always will be,” she added, leaning in to give him another kiss. “Now let’s drop the children off before we end up missing our flight.” Peggy grinned and climbed out of the car, setting Lotti on the ground in front of her. Sue must have been waiting for them to pull up because she came to the door to meet them, waving excitedly.
“Right,” Johnny said, shaking his head to clear off the sudden daze he was in. Clearing his throat and Dodger in hand he stepped out of the car, offering a hand to Peggy, and intertwining their fingers. He led the way towards the house, looking down at both the dogs, a faint smile on his lips. He would miss them. WIthout further hesitation he rung the doorbell.

“Of course you do,” Peggy responded, smiling. “Even if you don’t wish to admit it half the time.” Sue and Johnny had their fair share of arguments, but they cared about one another. Sometimes seeing the two of them together made Peggy miss her brother. Peggy looked out the window, sighing. “Well, then it’s a very good thing you haven’t got anyone to share me with.”
Johnny couldn’t help but smile as he saw Sue’s house. Maybe it had been too long. Either way, they would need to leave almost as soon as they got there so they wouldn’t miss their flight. Once he had parked the car in the driveway he turned to Peggy, taking her hand in his, and giving it a gentle squeeze. “I have to share you with the world.” He said, smiling sadly, taking a moment to bend over and kiss her lightly.Peggy smiled as he kissed her, shaking her head. “At the end of the day, I am completely yours.
